CT Scan
CT Scan - sometimes called a CAT Scan - is short-form (acronym) for a Computerized Axial Tomography Scan. A CT Scan typically combines multiple rotating X-Rays along with hi-end computerized processing to produce a more detailed ‘picture’ of the inner structures of a body – including bones, tissues and organs. A CT Scan offers significantly greater detail and clarity as compared to a regular X-Ray (it’s a bit like looking inside a slice of bread, instead of an outer view of the entire loaf). A CT Scan is typically done on our spine, heart, head, chest, abdomen, abdomen and knee. During a CT Scan, the body is made to pass through a tunnel-like machine that rotates through a 360-degree arc as it takes X-Ray images in rapid succession. These images are subsequently fed into a computer to produce an ‘all-around’ 2D snapshot of any part of the body. A minimally invasive and painless procedure, a CT Scan can be done on any part of the body in little time. While essentially 2D in nature (ie, producing two-dimensional image slices), a CT Scan can also be employed to create 3D images. A CT Scan cost depends on the body parts which you want to scan. CE CT Pelvis
It is an imaging technique that uses rotating beams of X-rays to create 3-D model of the pelvic region.
CT Cisternography
The main goal of this imaging modality is to diagnose the site of CSF rhinorrhoea or CSF otorrhoea (CSF leaks).
CT CV Junction
It is an imaging technique that uses a rotating beam of X-rays to create cross-sectional images of the cranio-vertebral junction (CVJ).
CT Face Neck
Computed Tomography scan for Face Neck. Performed on a muti-slice CT Scanner.
CE CT Dorsal Spine
Dysfunctional joints, arthritis, herniated or degenerative discs can lead to pain in the neck or back.
CE CT Lumbar Spine
It is the Computed Tomography (CT) scan of the lumbar spine with a contrast agent.
CE CT Lumbo-Sacral Spine
It is a computed tomography (CT) scan of the lower spine and surrounding tissues with a contrast agent.
CE CT Sinogram (Sinogram with Contrast)
It is a diagnostic test that uses a contrasting agent to find out the nature, shape and size of the fistulas and the cause behind them.
CT Angiography - Carotids with Contrast
It is an imaging test that uses a contrast agent to better visualize the carotid arteries – two large blood vessels located on both sides of your neck that deliver blood to your brain and head.
