CT Scan
CT Scan - sometimes called a CAT Scan - is short-form (acronym) for a Computerized Axial Tomography Scan. A CT Scan typically combines multiple rotating X-Rays along with hi-end computerized processing to produce a more detailed ‘picture’ of the inner structures of a body – including bones, tissues and organs. A CT Scan offers significantly greater detail and clarity as compared to a regular X-Ray (it’s a bit like looking inside a slice of bread, instead of an outer view of the entire loaf). A CT Scan is typically done on our spine, heart, head, chest, abdomen, abdomen and knee. During a CT Scan, the body is made to pass through a tunnel-like machine that rotates through a 360-degree arc as it takes X-Ray images in rapid succession. These images are subsequently fed into a computer to produce an ‘all-around’ 2D snapshot of any part of the body. A minimally invasive and painless procedure, a CT Scan can be done on any part of the body in little time. While essentially 2D in nature (ie, producing two-dimensional image slices), a CT Scan can also be employed to create 3D images. A CT Scan cost depends on the body parts which you want to scan. CT Foot
It is an imaging technique that uses a rotating beam of X-rays to create cross-sectional images of the right foot.
CE CT Face
It is an imaging technique that is used to visualize soft tissues and bones of the face.
CT Leg
It is an imaging technique that uses a rotating beam of X-rays to create cross-sectional images of the right leg.
CT Angiography - Cerebral / Head with Contrast Scan
It is an imaging test that uses a rotating beam of X-rays to create detailed 3-dimensional images of blood vessels in the head and neck.
CT Neck and Chest
CT Neck and Chest scan uses X-rays to provide detailed images of the neck and chest.
CT Angiography - Whole Abdomen with Contrast
It is an imaging technique that helps evaluate blood clots, damaged blood vessels in the abdominal organs, or any injury, and unexplained pain the abdomen.
CT Angiography - Aortogram with Contrast
CT Aortogram is performed using contrast for evaluating the artery Aorta from its origin (ascending aorta), its arch, and its part in the chest (thoracic aorta) till its bifurcation in the abdomen.
CT Dorsal Spine
The main goal of this imaging modality is to provide detailed images of the middle back (thoracic spine or dorsal sprine).
CT Lumber Spine
It is a painless imaging technique that uses a rotating beam of X-rays to create cross-sectional images of the lower spine and surrounding tissues.
