It is an imaging test that uses a rotating beam of X-rays to create detailed 3-dimensional images of the blood vessels in the left upper limb. It helps to diagnose narrowed blood vessels or blocked arteries of the wrist, arm, upper arm, shoulder and injured blood vessels of the hand. A contrast agent is used to highlight vascular abnormalities. Your doctor may advise this test to find out peripheral artery disease (PAD) and to find out Takayasu’s disease and Buerger’s disease.
Male: Recent Creatinine blood test reports (not older than 15 days) required. At least 4 hours fasting required. One attendant mandatory for this test.. Female: Recent Creatinine blood test reports (not older than 15 days) required. At least 4 hours fasting required. For Female patients of reproductive age, LMP is required to avoid any testing if pregnant, else Negative Urine Pregnancy Test report is needed. One attendant mandatory for this test.
